Mitch Berg Interviews Peter Donahue on October 12th

Local Talk Radio Show Host Mitch Berg in the second part of his show interviews Peter Donahue. Initially Mitch calls him “Paul,” but later on just before Peter comes on he corrects himself. Mitch’s show is on Saturdays on the Northern Alliance Radio Network (NARN) radio broadcast on 1280 AM, Salem Radio.

Peter talks with Mitch about the ins-and-outs of campaigning in a House District which historically was the last seat held by a Republican in St Paul.  The last Republican to win the District was John Drew who beat incumbent Dick Cohen in 1978, then served 2 terms, then lost to Dick Cohen in 1982. John Drew also served on the St Paul City Council as the Ward 3 Councilman for one term from 1984 to 1988.

The interview starts at 34:47 Minutes into the show and runs to 57:10 Minutes in the following link.  Prior to that, Mitch waxes on about the current state of our country and the Men for Harris campaign ads.

Save the date Sunday, October 6 at 1 PM

Hi all,
Meet us at Carbone’s, 1698 Randolph Ave, St Paul
The May Lor campaign for CD4 and the Peter Donahue, 64B Highland campaign, are getting together next Sunday, October 6th , for a “Spread the Good News” lit drop event.
The good news being that we have hard-working candidates looking for votes.
We will all meet at Carbone’s as a gathering point at 1 PM.
You can have pizza beforehand, or wait till you’re finished lit-dropping.
Precinct maps and lit will be there for you.
Then, when you’re finished, meet again at Carbone’s for food and drink, around 3:30 or 4.
I think Dave Pinto has realized this past week that Republicans in 64B are up to the challenge.
I will be sending more information soon.,
Please consider donating a little time. Bring the kids and let them help.
Thank you,

Each Legislative Year, the MN Gun Owners Caucus, which is a nonpartisan pro-2A, nonprofit organization sends out a survey for Candidates of all stripes to fill out and return. Then those candidates who respond who score A- or above their Political Action Committee will endorse for office.

Minnesota House District 66B Republicans is hosting an event featuring a MN Gun Owners Caucus Presentation, Q & A, and a Meet & Greet of all St Paul Republican Candidates for Minnesota State House. It should be a great time to network with other Republicans from the St Paul area, and learn some language and what the rhetoric is about gun control the DFL likes to push at the State Legislature.

I will be there Meeting and Greeting Voters. So come out and learn something from the MN Gun Owners Caucus.

Thanks,

Peter Donahue

This post was to let those voters who follow me to know of an event I will be attending on September 24th. — Peter
